Children and Adolescents

Individual counseling provides an opportunity for children or adolescents to work one-on-one with a clinician for guidance and support to resolve an issue, recover from an upsetting experience, explore thoughts and feelings, examine beliefs and work towards making healthy changes.

Group Counseling is a process where a collection of clients with similar issues or concerns meet as a group with one or more therapists, or other facilitators, to discuss those issues, and to learn about and share information and solutions about those issues. We offer different groups based on our client's needs.

Girl's group runs twice monthly for girls, ages 12 to 17, dealing with anxiety and instability.

​

Groups are forming soon addressing adolescent substance use and anger coping.

Family counseling brings together members of a family to work through situational or relationship issues. It is effective in treating concerns that impact the family as a whole, such as depression, substance abuse, chronic illness, and food issues, or everyday concerns, like communication problems, interpersonal conflict, or behavioral problems in children and adolescents.
